PARSEC

A wallet by BANKON

Your keys. Your coins.
No compromises.

PARSEC is a desktop wallet you own completely. Algorand first, with Solana, Arweave, EVM/Base and Bitcoin. Keys are made and kept on your device, signing happens in Rust, and nothing about you is sent anywhere.

All platforms

First launch. Installers are built in public by GitHub Actions from the source you can read. They are not yet code-signed, so macOS asks you to right-click → Open the first time, and Windows SmartScreen asks for More info → Run anyway.

Build it yourself. git clone https://github.com/parsec-wallet/PARSEC, then npm install and npm run tauri:build (Node 20, Rust stable). Full instructions.

    Algorand first, many chains

Algorand with its own 25-word phrase, plus Solana, Arweave, EVM/Base and Bitcoin. Each chain is a module with chain-native addresses; nothing is guessed from a raw key.

    Signed in Rust

Every chain signs in the Rust core. A signing call returns a signature, never a key. The interface asks; the core verifies and decides.

    Pay per request with x402

Pay for an API call in USDC over HTTP 402, settled on chain. A spending cap lets an agent pay small amounts on its own while anything larger waits for you.

    .algo names

Register a .algo name from the wallet. The registry price and the BANKON fee are shown as two separate payments to two parties, never summed.

    Wallets for agents

Many accounts from one seed, watch-only accounts, and a local bridge where every dApp or agent request is approved on screen. The key never leaves PARSEC.

    Permaweb

Publish to Arweave and manage ArNS names, signed by the same wallet. The interface itself is built to ship as a permaweb site.

    Your keys stay yours

Keys rest in bankon_vault: a passphrase-locked vault on your device, Argon2id and AES-256-GCM. Keep several vaults as profiles, one open at a time. Type a wallet's address and PARSEC opens the vault that holds its key.

Create a wallet in three steps: see your address, back up the key and recovery phrase, verify and save.

    From BANKON

BANKON guarantees this: if you lose your vault passphrase, no one will help you recover your sovereign identity. Not BANKON, not PARSEC, not anyone. There is no reset, no support desk and no back door. Failure to maintain your wallet private key, recovery phrase and vault passphrase results in loss of funds.

    Where it stands

PARSEC is alpha. Use small amounts. Open items are listed in the open: the second-generation vault is specified but not compiled in, Bitcoin PSBT signing is not yet exercised end to end, and the first mainnet x402 settlement through PARSEC is the next step. Details
